      Can I still evict a tenant for (at least 5) lease violations if the lease has not been filed with the parish clerk’clerk’s office? They have been there for five months.

      What are the terms of the lease? Does it state the rules? Also, we have always understood that filing a lease at the courthouse just protected you in case the property was sold.. Normally ppl dont file their leases…

      Yes, exactly. A lease does not have to be recorded in order to enforce it’s terms.
