The search engines love
us
La-Legal has
positioned itself with the search engines so that any search for a Louisiana
lawyer will probably show us on the first page, if not the first three hits.
Try it yourself. If you search on Google (Google is responsible for about 80%
of search traffic) for the phrase
“Louisiana lawyer referral” we will come up #1 out of 8,530 hits. If you
search on “Slidell probate lawyer” or “Louisiana personal injury lawyer” or
any search of that nature you will get a similar result. Many other searches
involving law, like "lawyer fees" will bring us up ranked near the top.

Types of listings and costs
The cost is nominal, especially compared to the
national referral services that bury your listing with thousands of others.
There
are two listing plans available:
-Basic. We list your basic information such as name, address, telephone
number, and fax number. Your are listed by geographic location
and area of practice . Basic listings come after any premium
listings. There is no charge for this service. You can choose two areas of
practice and you will be listed separately under each area of practice.
-Gold. Your listing comes before any basic listings and is set in
larger type and inside a special border with a contrasting background color. If you have a web site, a link to your
site is included. The number of Gold listings for any area of practice within a
geographic area are limited. With a Gold listing you can have up to two
additional lines of personal or firm information. The cost is $10.00 per month.

How to list your firm
with La-Legal
Just go to our
signup page and fill in the information you want to appear in your
listing. Please limit yourself to one area of practice. If you choose a Gold
listing, we will contact you to add an additional two areas of practive. Your listing
will typically be approved and posted in a day. If you prefer a Gold
listing, you will be able to pay by credit card. All fees are payable on an
monthly basis and you can cancel at any time. Fees paid for a month are
not refundable.
If your city is not yet listed, we will add your city or add you to the
nearest larger city, as you prefer. For example, if you want to list as a
family lawyer in Denham Springs, we could either list you under Baton Rouge
with a Denham Springs address, or we could add Denham Springs to our cities
listings.
