Well, technically you can do ANYTHING in court without an attorney...    ;D

(It is just not recommended unless you are desperate. Cause if the other side has a ruthless attorney, they will run over you)

I don't know that it is really a question of trusting the grandparents or not.  If the mom comes by and demands the kid - the cops will probably acquiesce to the moms demand.

All a bond gets you is the starting money to initiate the court actions to get the kid back.

Think of another way to trust the grandparents.

Well Grandmother and Uncles and Aunts came by and visit.  Got a little bit of what is going on.  According to one of the Uncles they are not even allowed his sisters address in Texas.  She was actually hospitalized last week and her hubby would not even give her Mom their location so that she could go to be with her daughter.  She asked that she be able to have her grandson on some weekends but like was said what is to stop the Mom from demanding her child.  Uncle says new hubby is a nut case.  This is crazy, it sounds like she is pretty much a prisoner and estranged from her family.  This girl was extremely close to her family.  We hated telling grandmother we couldn't let him go.  I am so happy they came by to visit him though.
